| Problem: | Single
sensing seatbelts only. Australian Design Rules requires dual sensing
seatbelts. |

| Date Range Affected: | June 1991

| Defect: | Single
sensing seatbelts (vehicle deceleration only) fitted to the retractor
seatbelts. The Australian Design Rules require webbing acceleration
(W) sensing also. |

| Consequences: | The ELR
seatbelts have a lesser chance of locking properly in an accident. |
||||
| Corrective Action: | Longden
Enterprises Pty Ltd T/As Isaso Vehicle Compliance Centre will remove
ELR-V seatbelts 7C 1800 and 7C 1810 seatbelts and fit dual sensing seatbelts. |
