Import approvals cannot be issued for vehicles that
have been imported. The definition of 'imported' is 'arrival in the intended
port of dispatch', that is, once the ship arrives in the port where the
vehicle is intended to be off-loaded, the vehicle is considered as imported.
It is recommended that you do not ship your vehicle to Australia until
such time as you are issued with an import approval. Longden Enterprises
Pty Ltd will not issue an import approval to any vehicle currently in
Australia. Do not arrange shipping for your vehicle from Japan to Australia
until you receive confirmation an import approval has been granted from
Department of Transport and Regional Services.
Upon arrival of your vehicle into Australia, the vehicle must be transported directly to Longden Enterprises Pty Ltd as the Registered Automotive Workshop, as the vehicle is the responsibility of this workshop from the point on landing. All vehicles entering Australia under the Registered Automotive Workshop Scheme must have a de registration paper available to Longden Enterprises Pty Ltd. If a de registration paper is unavailable the vehicle may need to be either exported out of Australia or imported into Australia as automotive parts only. Please be aware an import approval application will not be submitted to Department of Transport and Regional Services until the deposit on compliance has been received form you as the customer in full. The deposit is required to cover the cost of the Import Approval and Approval to Import and Plate a Used Japanese Vehicle, please be advised any deposit is non refundable. If a deposit is not received within 14 days of a RAWS_Customer Application for Vehicle Import Approval being issued the application will be cancelled unless otherwise stated in writing by Longden Enterprises Pty Ltd. Please also be aware a
storage fee of $25 per day will be charge one week form the date the vehicle
compliance is completed, therefore please insure transport pick-up is
arranged for the vehicle within one week of the vehicle being complied
to avoid this fee. Compliance does not include a roadworthy certificate,
these are to be arrange by the customer. |

As a customer of Longden Enterprises Pty Ltd, I understand
all work carried out on the vehicle is a statutory requirement of the
Federal Government.
I understand that should the vehicle arrive in a condition not fit for compliance, it shall be disposed of in accordance with the Guide to Registered Automotive Workshops at a cost of the vehicle owner. I acknowledge that any non-complying
item on the vehicle shall be destroyed in I as the customer and owner of this vehicle am also aware the Consumer Information Notice supplied to me by Longden Enterprises Pty Ltd as the Registered Automotive Workshop must be on display and in clear view if the vehicle is to be on sold to any other party, I am also aware the Consumer Information Notice is needed to register the vehicle in it’s standard form and must be then given to the owner of the vehicle. By signing this form over side, I also acknowledge all of the above stated and the laws regarding shipment of a vehicle requiring a vehicle import approval. I also accept the price quoted for the job, and understand that the price may increase should the vehicle require additional repairs and or modifications to comply with the requirements set by the Department of Transport and Regional Services.
